FRIENDS THAT HELP AND FRIENDS THAT HURT- WHICH TERM DESCRIBES YOU?

Proverbs 27: 1-27

Life, including the Christian life, was meant to be lived in community. Human beings have the same basic needs, and one of them is to have loving relationships that allow us to support and encourage one another. When the Lord said, “It is not good that the man should be alone,” He said it when Adam was a sinless, perfect example of humanity. Just as Eve came from him and was brought back to him, it was so together they could do God’s will and enjoy life. Real friends are a treasure, and sadly many people do not know how to be a good friend, or do not have enough of them in their lives.

Do you have friends you can count on? Do you refresh others or drain others by being around them? As iron is needed to sharpen iron, someone needs you to be their friend, just as the Lord desires a closer friendship with you. (John 15:15)
