Matthew 28:18-20

The story of the Bible is the story of God's mission to bring sinful humanity back to himself and to restore us to communion with him. The Bible begins with creation in Genesis 1 and 2, and it ends with new creation in Revelation 21 and 22. It tells a story of our rebellion against our creator, and of God's provision of salvation in Jesus Christ. The message of the Bible can be summed up in five words; God Saves Sinners through Jesus. We just celebrated Christmas. Remember, the angel came to Joseph and said, give him the name Jesus because he will save his people from their sins. The name Jesus means the Lord saves. God's plane of salvation is centered in Jesus. That's what the Bible is all about.
