Jeremiah 14:1-22
The people of Jeremiah’s day experienced the devastating effects of drought as one of the consequences of their sin (Deuteronomy 28:22-24). Famine was a periodic phenomenon in the biblical narrative. God has a track record of helping those in positive relationship with Him survive famine (Acts 11:27-30).
“And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35)
