TO BELIEVE OR NOT TO BELIEVE, THAT IS THE QUESTION

Matthew 28:1-20

Who is Jesus? (Matthew 16:16-17). The purpose of the Gospels is to prove that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. The Gospels accurately document events that describe Jesus fulfilling prophecies about the anticipated Messiah (Christ/Anointed One). Today, we are examining the documented history of the events surrounding the resurrection of Christ Jesus as recorded by Matthew.

The Gospel is based on actual historical events. “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that Cephas saw him, then by the twelve” (1 Corinthians 15:3-5).
